Dr. Sridhar Sripadmanabhan Indira is a passionate renewable energy researcher with over 10 years of expertise in solar photovoltaic and thermal energy systems. Currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at Solar Research Institute, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia; he specialises in PV performance modelling, degradation analysis, and machine learning applications for predictive maintenance in solar energy systems. His research journey includes a PhD from Taylor’s University, where he developed a novel concentrator photovoltaic/thermal and thermoelectric hybrid system (CPV/T-STEG), achieving significant performance improvements over existing technologies. As lead inventor, he holds a granted patent for “A Hybrid Solar Energy Harvester” and has been recognised with prestigious awards, including Gold at the International Invention, Innovation, and Technology Competition and Exhibition 2024. 

Dr. Sridhar Sripadmanabhan Indira brings extensive hands-on experience from prototype development to large-scale PV installations, having led comprehensive performance analyses for utility-scale and rooftop PV systems. His technical expertise spans advanced simulation tools (TracePro, ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink, PVsyst), machine learning models for energy prediction, and cutting-edge research in concentrator solar technologies and nanogenerators. With a strong commitment to sustainable energy solutions and knowledge transfer, he has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and actively mentors the next generation of renewable energy professionals. His work bridges the gap between innovative research and practical implementation, contributing to the advancement of clean energy technologies worldwide.
