Ursula Balderson is an interdisciplinary researcher working on the political economy of environmental policy making and the social impacts of environmental policies. Her work spans just transition, political ecology, environmental labour studies, employment relations, ecological economics and the future-of-work.  Her current project is about the implications of increased involvement of private finance in nature restoration. She is based in the School of Earth and Environment at Leeds University. For this project she worked on the Chilean case study with Dasten Julián-Vejar and the UK case study with Jo Cutter and Vera Trappmann.
