Professor Vera Trappmann
Vera is a leading scholar in the sociology of work and employment relations. Her work is comparative, studying the transformation of work and its impact on workers with a particular focus on climate change and the green economy.
She is member of the Priestley Centre for Climate Futures and associated with the Digital Futures at Work ESRC Centre.
She is also a member of the Economics Advisory Group on Climate Change Risk and Adaptation, Climate Change Committee UK.
She has published a monograph, edited two books (third under contract with Bristol University Press), and two journal special issues and has published 30 journal articles and 33 book chapters in various languages.
Vera is leading the work on Just Transition and climate change at LUBS.
